Privacy Policy
This draft explains the categories of information BarberU expects to handle and the privacy principles guiding the MVP.
Information we collect
Account details, barber profile information, reviews, favorites, and privacy-conscious product events may be stored when Supabase is connected. Authentication secrets are handled by Supabase and are never exposed in public profiles.
Location and professional information
Campus barbers should publish only a general service area. Professional barbers may choose to display a public business address. Private addresses, personal email addresses, license details, and verification documents are not public.
Analytics
BarberU measures university searches, profile views, booking clicks, and key account actions to improve discovery and show barbers the value of reaching a campus. The MVP avoids storing raw IP addresses in product event records.
Your choices
Users should be able to update profile information, remove favorites, and request account or content deletion. Final procedures and legal rights will be completed before launch.
